Feedback?

I've made some pretty significant changes to the site this weekend. I'd love to hear some feedback and thoughts. I'd like to make the site as comfortable for you as it is for me.

Oh yeah, and I'm around for trade talk too. Hit me up ballaz!!

  1. It's not bad. I like it. Only thing it takes a lil longer to load now that you have all these things going on. But I mesh with the flow. Since you have good content on this site, I will overlook anything that could be a problem. But yea, its good for sure.

p.s. people in the league havent been responding to trades. Once they get aprooved, I'll be back on here, botherin you with my upcoming moves and saucy numbers. haha

i was finally able to get rid of granger. idk how pts work for a 15 man roster but my team will score 700+ pts, 300+ reb, and 160+ast, maybe 70+ stls (now have 62 with 8 guys playing). im kind of weak on blcks and treys, and i cud work on my %s a little. u have any suggestions for this team?

  3. I agree with Pavel on that, even the part about the inactive owners. how annoying. The new layout is cool, i like the fact that you have to self-identify as a commenter, sometimes trying to read your responses to others to help your own cause was confusing with all the annoy's. (i can only imagine how confusing it was for you!)

One thing that always gets me is idk which post I should comment on to get my questions on. generally, i go for the most recent and then once I get a back-and-forth started with you, i just stick with it. do you get notified if we were to comment on any of your posts on here?

one last note, im pumped for those baseball tiers you got working...cant wait to hear a guru's opinion on it to see how it matches up with my own. take your time. thanks for all the work you do!

  4. the new layout is legit. looks mad professional.

  5. Nice, good to hear guys. It's 1:30am here and I'm already workin on those baseball tiers. I also have access to extensive data for baseball, it'll be good.

    Thanks again

  6. I feel ya, i'm in the same time zone. but yeah i bet those tiers will be good. i'll be checking back for a post? and in the comments too. you dont gotta rush it just for me haha. whenever you got a chance to compile and post 'em, then go for it. I check this thing on the hour almost so ill be sure to see it whenever it gets up. good luck and thanks again!

  7. okay so in one of my leagues there were some inactive managers so I as the commissioner decided to step in and replace them, so this guy comes in and takes over this team. Just to mention he told me he wanted Howard and get ready for an offer. So I am thinking okay he has Pua Gasol, Andre Iguodala, Danny Granger, Lamarcus Aldridge, Monta Ellis he'll probably offer me two of those guys for D Howard. Nope what does he do he offers me MY Dwight Howard for his Andrew Bynum and Stephen Curry. And on top of this he offers this trade the night Andrew Bynum only plays a WHOPPING 10 minutes because he fouled out. Please tell me you haven't gotten a worse trade offer than this.

  8. Sorry about the rant, i was just pissed off. lol

So this guy in my league said he wants paul pierce and will give me two players which two do you think I should get from him (thinking one guard and one post)

    this is my sauce

    PTS: 17.3
    3PTM: 1.2

    SPENCER HAWES
    JOHN SALMONS

  9. just a note i have one roster spot open so that is why he said he will give me two for pierce so i could probably go 3-2 if the last guy is john salmons, eric gordon, oj mayo, or spencer hawes

  10. Who do you have ranked ahead of Dwyane Wade on keeper leagues?

    ReplyDelete
  11. so brother, i made the following trade:

LBJ & Stephen Jackson for Nash and Roy.

    Here's the post sauce numbers:

    pts: 18.025
    Reb: 6.3
    Asst: 3.437
    St: 1.1625
    Blk: .85
    3's: 1.0875

    Prior to trade:
    Pts: 18.9
    reb: 5.85
    ASST: 4.01
    ST: .937
    BLK: .725
    3'S: 1.087

I think the dude who sent the trade did so drunk at one a.m. after coming home from the bar. I'm taking a hit in assists but it seems worth it for a tier one player (especially because nash is an old man playing well and SJAX is playing well). I'd like to hear your thoughts. my team if trade goees through:

    PG DWADE
    SG: SJAX
    SF: Lebron James
    PF: Al Jefferson
    C: Okafur
    UTL: Rashard Lewis
    UTL:Luol Deng
    UTL: Jason Terry

    Bench: Jason Thompson
    Ben Wallace
    Michael Redd
    Channing Frye

I know i need assists, what trades should i propose? I like rondo and kidd.

  12. What's the difference between Deron and Nash?
It looks they have the same value
    I need some FG% and 3PTM
Should I give Deron and get Steve?

  14. Yo thief, it's WeFlyHigh just changed my ID so I could follow your blog. It's pretty reputable, and a sick layout, but the only thing for me is that it's hard for me to find the archive of past articles in a list format. My two cents.

Aight, so I managed to pull off 2 trades recently, but they have to get approved first. How'd I make out?

    12-team, H2H Most cats, 10 Starter 4 Bench 1 IR
    Team:
    PGs: Mo Williams, Felton, Calderon
SGs: Courtney Lee (very thin at this position)
    SFs: LBJ, Deng, Ilyasova, Hill
    PFs: Garnett, Thompson
    Cs: Andrea, Okafor, Noah

    IR: Nelson
Temporary Pickup: SG/SF Maurice Evans (not included in sauce numbers)

    Sauce Numbers:
    Points: 14.74
    Asts: 3.09
    Rebs: 6.47
    Treys: 0.76
    Steals: 1.03
    Blks: 0.76

    I gave: Felton, Ilyasova, Hill.
    I got: Amar'e, Speights !

    I gave: Nelson
    I got: Carter

    I dropped: Maurice Evans
I should pick up: .. Augustin, B. Miller, M. Miller, Ty Lawson, Gomes, C.J. Watson, Harden or Barbosa?

I'm leaning towards picking up Gomes and storing him in my now empty IR spot, and then Lawson as a backup to Calderon and Mo Will. Any ideas?

    Thanks.

  15. Hi thief,

The layout looks pretty neat. The current posts are readily accesible, whereas the index for the old post (right) makes it easy to refer to old entries for info. Keep it bro!

    ReplyDelete
  16. Oh, I'm also offering KG and Okafor for Roy. Is that a good deal?

    ReplyDelete
  17. Hey I like the makeover but for some reason the blog seems to be slightly overwhelming with lots of things pulling your attention. My advice would be to make the blog posts/content the focal point and you can do that by adjusting the width, of the posts so that they don't span 3/4ths of the page, you can adjust font type, etc. I'm by no means an expert, just giving you my 2 cents!! I haven't posted on a blog since jan/feb of 2009, but here is what my old blog looked like, maybe you can draw some inspiration from it, maybe not!! http://artistintrospect.blogspot.com/

Onto the fantasy question. Below are the sauce numbers for my starting line up which has a few guys struggling as of late in comparison to last year (John Salmons, CharlieV, Wade) and I have J.Nelson on the bench who was not part of the sauce # averages and his return could affect the assists, treys and steals categories.

    Points: 15.2
    Assists: 3.65
    Boards: 5.94
    Treys: 0.85
    Steals: 1.18
    Blocks: 0.89

    PG) Jason Kidd
    SG) Dwayne Wade
    G) Rajon Rondo
    SF) Charlie Villanueva
    PF) Michael Beasley
    F) Andrea Bargnani
    C) Chris Kaman
    C) Brendadn Haywood
    Util) Beno Udrih
    Util) John Salmons
    Bench) Shawn Marion
    Bench) Joel Pryzbilla
    Bench) Jameer Nelson (inj)

keeping those sauce #s in mind and seeing my league settings + roster, any thoughts or ideas in mind for trades I should try to pull off?

I am trying to buy low on a few guys and am thinking of sending out the following trades:

    I send: CharlieV+Udrih for Hedo
    I send: CharlieV for E.Gordon
    I send: Marion for Okur
    I send: Marion+Pryzbilla+Udrih for L.WIlliams+Maggete

    thoughts? thanks again!

  18. Aaron, how bout Butler n Richardson?

Mike, no one, I love wades blocks!

Mavs, NOTHING better than inkin a deal from a guy who was drunk. Ha! I love it, you def Trade Raped him there. Kidd n Rondo r pricey, try Terry for Jameer Nelson, toss in a bench guy to make it happen.

Scola, yeah those two cats r the diff. If u need fg n 3's, go Nash.

Tyrone, it got vetoed because people abuse the veto! I HATE VETOES! Ok conley doesn't cut it, u need a real pg. Start shoppin him n frye or gallinari an see what you can bring home. Go for everyone from Nelson, rondo, n Mo to Deron n Nash (they'll hopefully counteroffer you). Good luck, let me know what comes of it.

FlyHigh! Wassap playa, thx for the feed back, I can hook that up. Love those trades, love them! Go for mike miller off the FA for sure. Oh but I would NOT do KG n Okafor for Roy.

Intro, thanks for the feedback, good stuff! As for the team, I like your offers but your issue is needing a big. Can u move Marion for Aldridge? Something along those lines. Brook Lopez, Elton brand, somethin like that.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Hey thief - appreciate that feedback and I can try to get someone like Brand, but I'm not sure if that's my main concern right now because I'm 1st in the league in block and 3rd in rebounds. I have plenty off-Centers that cover big man stats for me such as rebounding, i.e. Kidd, Wade, Charlie, Beasley. Here's how I stand in the league right now. 13 GMS. As you know 13 = best in that cat, 1 = last in that cat.

    FGM 11
    FG% 6
    FTM 4
    FT% 5
    3PTM 12
    3PT% 5
    PTS 8
    REB 10
    AST 9
    ST 8
    BLK 13
    TO 6

    ReplyDelete
  20. Yeah I didn't like the KG + Okafor offer for Roy that much, so I cancelled it right after I posted it. And mhm, yeah mike miller is looking like a better option actually. thanks a lot.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Intro, I hear ya bro. I know treys is ur main concern, but jameer will help out a ton an the hedo or e gord deals add icing. I'd just like to see u make a 2-1 that brings home a solid big. Kamans an injury concern, an with Blake he's gonna lose a few minutes. That's all I'm gettin at.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Point taken! I'd like to add a reliable big as well! I'll go hunting for some! The Hedo deal just got turned down and the E.gordon one is still up there for the owner to "hopefully" take. The Marion for Okur deal is still up as well, which I wouldn't mind happening as long as Okur starts to pick up his play. thanks again for the advice

    ReplyDelete
  23. A couple small questions, I'm trying to sell high-ish on Deng. Who would be better target as other teams have expressed interest. I could perhaps swing Deng for D. West or Deng for B. Davis. Or should I keep Deng? What's your opinion?

    Thanks thief.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Kev, I don't belive Dengs value will rise from here, and if you inked a deal for BD or D West, I think that'd be a steal. I'd say west if you want to maintain the same stat cats as deng gives, or BD if u need more dimes instead.
