When you want to capture a scene, digital cameras cause two frustrations: they make it too difficult to get a long exposure or the time lag from pushing the button to when the camera actually shoots is too long when you're trying to time your shot or that perfect facial expression is seen. Easy-to-grab controls are as important as quick access to your presets (the greatest thing about digital photography ever) - the less you have to click through menus and submenus on the LED screen the better.
