Sei al quarto anno di liceo, vai con i pattini inline (fare skate era già più figo), ascolti solo musica punk ed hardcore. Vivi in una città che dire periferica è poco, vesti con dei pantaloni che andrebbero bene a tuo padre e sulla maglietta che indossi hai scritto punkers. Per questo motivo ogni mattina sull'autobus vieni deriso da chi ha dei pantaloni sottovuoto e delle scarpe con le zeppe. Lo sai già che solo il tempo ti darà ragione, ma al momento le palle ti girano comunque. Ah dimenticavo: le ragazze non ti guardano neanche per sbaglio (anche qua il tempo ti darà ragione, ma ne sei meno convinto). Ti consola che i tuoi amici sono più o meno come te. Un giorno vai in un negozio di dischi e compri una videocassetta di clip musicali (si chiamava "punxploitation") al prezzo di 5.000 lire, dividendo il costo con l'amico che è li con te. Vai a casa sua e la guardi. Tra i diversi gruppi che conosci ne spunta uno nuovo: The Get Up Kids. Il video che ti cambierà il gusto musicale per i 10 anni a venire è della canzone Action & Action. Il disco dai cui è tratto è Something to write home about. Ieri sera i Get up kids hanno suonato a Bologna, un evento che aspettavo da circa 10 anni (hanno fato poche date in italia a suo tempo ed erano inattivi dal 2005). Io e centiaia di altri come me eravamo lì. Chi non ha avuto un background simile al mio non può capire cosa diavolo rappresenta. Il tuo passato che ritorna. I tuoi idoli che arrivano e ti dicono «Hey noi siamo ancora qui, non ti dicevamo stronzate!». Le emozioni, le sensazioni, il sudore, tutte le storie della mia vita che mi sono passate davanti agli occhi.
Faccio fatica ancora a realizzare. Alle mie spalle ho la scaletta dei pezzi che hanno suonato e che il chitarrista ha lanciato nel pubblico. Non so più cosa dire, non so come descriverle scrivendo certe situazioni.

Vítima de um acidente na infância ela na verdade vive seus dias dormindo, acordando raramente e por pouco tempo. Um estudante de artes chamado Danny Sloan se apaixona por ela sem saber que ao lado do quarto do hospital que está sua amada reside um terrível assassino em série chamado Byron Volpe, o qual está prestes a colocar em prática seus planos sanguinários. Sloan ajuda Laura a fugir do hospital mas não imagina que Volpe estará entrando em seus sonhos, despertando os piores pesadelos de sua vida.

Filme The Storm: Part One - Legendado
Sinopse: A história traz Robert Terrell (Everwood), que obcecado em controlar o clima do planeta através da tecnologia, cria uma máquina através de fundos do Atmospheric Research Institute que é bem sucedida, mas um defeito acaba causando uma catástrofe e o clima mundial sai de controle provocando furacões, tornados, tempestades e maremotos que destroem cidades inteiras.
A minissérie tem ainda a presença do James Van Der Beek (Dawson´s Creek) interpretando o Dr. Jonathan Kirk que tenta destruir o aparelho, mas encontra resistência de Terrell e do General Braxton (David James Elliott de JAG) que querem utilizar a máquina como arma (“Quem controla o Clima controla o Mundo”). The Storm conta ainda com a presença da Teri Pólo (JAG) como a Jornalista Danni Wilson, que irá ajudar Kirk a expor as intenções dos militares.
