Wavin' Flag (K'NAAN Cover/Spanish Remix) - Tomas Karmelo

LYRICS:
when i get older i will be
stronger they'll call me freedom just
like a wavin flag

when i get older i will be
stronger they'll call me freedom just
like a waving flag
and then it goes back (3x)
ahhho ahhho ahhho

born to a throne
stronger than rome
but violent prone
poor people zone
but its my home
all i have known
where i got grown
streets we would roam

out of the darkness
i came the farthest
among the hardest survive
learn form these streets
it can be bleak
accept no defeet
surrender retreat
(so we struggling)
fighting to eat
(and we wondering)
when we will be free
so we patiently wait
for that faithful day
its not far away
but for now we say

when i get older i will be
stronger they'll call me freedom just
like a waving flag
and then it goes back (3x)

Cuando yo cresca yo sere libre
Yo sere fuerte como
Como mi bandera (3x)
Como mi bandera, bandeeeera
Bandeeeera, bandeeeera

Nacido pobre
No tengo nada
Pura violencia
Pura dolencia
Pero es mi tierra
Derecha e izquierda
No la abandono
Es mi promesa
Lo mas oscuro
Lo se de seguro
Viviendo la vida
Como un burro
Las callas me criaron
Me traicionaron
Pero sigo luchando
Porque soy mexicano
Luchamos
Solo por un plato
Y preguntamos
Que libre estamos
Si seguimos matando
Robando la vida
Tenemos salida
Si unido gritamos

Cuando yo cresca yo sere libre
Yo sere fuerte como
Como mi bandera (3x)

(awkward pause...lol)

I'mma take a detour and get to the point
K'Naan I want you to hear my voice
and if you can't hear it I hope the windshield
it don't smear it, and if it does
I hope you feel my spirit

I'mma take it slow
and just kick it with the fam bam
Good food and music
Like a true Mexican-can
Light up the grill
And start spinnin the jam-jams
You already know
From rancheras to Tupac
We'll keep on dancing
Cuz it never gets too hot
Party doesn't end
Until la chota tells us to STOP
...now they're gone
So let's crank it back up
Party doesn't end
Til the bring back, up
Weekend's almost over
Time to wrap it up
Hands up now
Now bump that cup
With the person to your right
Now the person to your left
Tell 'em good night
and tell 'em not to stress
"everything will be alright" (2x)
Epidemic foreclosures
Like human bulldozers
To our families' self-esteem
But we will not claim defeat
We got too many dreams to reach!

when i get older i will be
stronger they'll call me freedom just
like a wavin flag

Credit where credit is due, I learned about these vids from ELMS (I've provided the links to the thumbnails below), but it's RIGHT up my alley!!!

Apparently, it's a new Spanish drama/soap and one of the storylines involves a married woman having an affair with her daughter's very hot friend! The build up and kissing is awesome. It's a damn editors that cut the scenes short. I've found a few on Youtube and the links are below. I've also downloaded them as MP4s and included them in a zip.

-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mYz51i8oOs - 1x06 - This is where it all happens. Comforting --> Intense kissing
-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAPLqvXLOnU - 1x07 - This is the day after(?) and is more subtle with a kiss and a look while the daughter is asleep in the same room.
-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3gNFa2LarA - 1x08 - This is all about the build-up. They both play hard-to-get with each other moments after the husband leaves!

Wow, all I want is more more more!

Bonus: Here's an article from AfterEllen.com talking about the surge of lesbian characters on Spanish TV! Maybe I should invest in one of those expensive satellite dishes...
