Though I can't figure out why you would vote for McCain, make sure you exercise YOUR RIGHT TO VOTE! Hey, Democrats. Did you hear what I just told McCain's supporters? I said don't stay home. Fellow Democrats, IF WE ARE TO PREVENT YET ANOTHER DISASTROUS 4 YEARS OF REPUBLICAN DEFICIT LEADERSHIP, WE HAVE TO VOTE! There are people out there who are going to vote for McCain. There are people out there who are going to buy hook, line and sinker LIES about Barack Obama. That's right. LIES. And here they come.

Two books attacking Sen. Barack Obama are scheduled to be released on August 1 and August 4 -- The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of Personality (Threshold Editions), by Jerome Corsi, co-author of Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry, which contains false and baseless attacks on Sen. John Kerry's military service, and National Review Online writer David Freddoso's The Case Against Barack Obama: The Unlikely Rise and Unexamined Agenda of the Media's Favorite Candidate. Regnery, publisher of The Case Against Barack Obama, touts the book as having the same "goal" as Unfit for Command, which Regnery also published. During and after the 2004 election, critics rebuked the media for taking so long to challenge the smears against Kerry by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth in Unfit for Command and in the news media. The overt connections between the Swift Boat Veterans' scurrilous campaign against Kerry and the two forthcoming books raise the question for the media: Will they have absorbed the lessons of their highly flawed Swift Boat coverage and give more immediate and more thorough scrutiny to these forthcoming books?
Well, don't look now, fellow Dems and Progressives, but here come the Swift Boaters! That's right, the real, actual people who published two books last election here in the serious season of 100 DAYS PRIOR TO THE GENERAL ELECTION DAY in the United States who managed to get Senator John Kerry sunk in his bid to UNSEAT PRESIDENT BUSH in the middle of his imperialist occupation of Iraq. The books made baseless assaults on Kerry's worthiness of Presidential office by questioning his HEROIC SERVICE during the Vietnam War and his patriotism in general. The same man who survived multiple deadly attacks on duty, protected his men at his own personal peril during those attacks, and came back to explain to the country just how flawed a war the Vietnam War was for a country that was itself borne out of movement rejecting Imperialism. In Vietnam, we found ourselves fighting to enslave under the rule of our puppet government a people who wanted to be free.
