This is the Lion's back of Moab, Utah.
It is a pretty crazy challange and lot of people try it.
So many accidents also has happened.
Lion's Back is one of those things I have always wanted to do. It really isn't that challenging
of an obstacle, but the cost of making a mistake could be huge! There is a $10 fee to enter
the private campground at the base of the famous fin. The first 30-40 feet are very steep,
and all you see is sky. After that, the fin levels out a bit, and I just followed the black rubber
tracks in front of me. Towards the top there are a few more interesting areas as you have
to straddle a notch, and get very close to the edge. But for the most part, just follow the route.
