Throw a brick at the T.V.

Sales ought to be off the charts for those T.V. bricks (Made In China) whenever "breaking news" about the "economic crisis" hits the tube. I am so tired of George Bush, I either tune out his voice or start moaning and groaning immediately if I dare listen to him. There he goes again, pushing some trillion-and-1 dollar ("$700 Billion"? Riiiight) plan to stop something that can't be stopped unless unlimited spending and increased police state powers with reduced or no oversight can be enjoyed for the benefit of the rich.

You see, Bush is indebted and grateful to the people who are threatening to blow up our economy like some terrorist in a Bombvest® because they got him into office with their borrowed funds. Now that they're in trouble, Bush owes them back, but we pay, he doesn't. He can only sell his plan by reminding us that "The Economy", like a "terrorist" is about to harm main street America. Of course, Bush doesn't really care about main street America. He cares only about his friends. After Bush's friends are rescued, they can then resume funding future Republicans to take this country over again.

Now some might say, "forget throwing bricks, don't pay any attention." This is just a copout that serves the very people who have bankrupted this country. Bush and his forces would love it if you paid no attention so they could ramrod the Congress with power-grabbing legislation before Congress people and Senators who are operating without any pressure from the voters to take a stand instead of being a runner stamp.

A rubber stamp for stealing money from the American people and giving it no questions asked to the unregulated rich thieves of Wall Street, their President and Treasury Department friends warning of "dire consequences for the economy if we don't pass this legislation NOW!"

A comment made on Huffpost and I paraphrase:
"Remember that Chinese man who picked up all his belongings and stood in front of the tank? Anyway, the Congress is not him. Under the fear of being seen as unpatriotic, they allowed illegal wiretapping, torture, suspension of Habeas Corpus and an illegal war. Well, here comes another tank."
