
Wow, would you look at these two air masses facing off against each other in this satellite from 7 in the morning today. Between them is a thin, fast southerly stream that is literally getting squeezed between them. The arrow indicate motion. My guess is the frontal zone will bring a, maybe, hourlong rainfall period, followed by cold north winds that even this far inland may smell a touch oceanic. My guess. The pros, who are, well, pros, call for 3 hours of light rain between 7pm and midnight.
