Statements we say are Pants on Fire! It's easy to fall under the spell of misinformation. Someone makes a statement or tells of a scenario "you just gotta believe" because it seems so true to what you "have heard" about a person, an idea, a movement, a program or a bill before Congress. If you are open to being perhaps shocked that something you heard isn't true and why it isn't true, then click PANTS ON FIRE! the web page that exposes the most off-base lies of them all.
Also check out their page of statements that are just plain FALSE, BARELY TRUE (theres a doosey by Barack Obama there), HALF TRUE, MOSTLY TRUE and TRUE (with a gold star from Teacher!)
My favorite so far is a statement that is true: "Preventive care does not save the government money". RIGHT! It saves lives, not money.
This health care reform debate has gone on too long without this resource being exploited. So surf on over to the truth-o-meter right away.
